Rockwall Independent School District issued the following announcement.
Springer Elementary students, staff, parents and community members recently participated in a PTA sponsored event virtually, “Snowflakes, Sweets, and Snuggles.”
Every student was provided materials to make a snowflake at home to share on Zoom while drinking hot cocoa and wearing pajamas.
Mrs. Reeves read a story about snowflakes to remind everyone that everyone, much like snowflakes, is different and unique.
The snowflakes will be displayed on campus as a reminder to embrace diversity.
