The Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) recently announced that it is offering a free webinar for prospective school board candidates to learn about serving on the school board.
Participants can attend the webinar to learn about the school board election process and responsibilities of serving on the school board. Attendees can also learn the difference in responsibilities for board and staff members, how to campaign constructively and information about being a candidate.
The webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 9 from noon to 1 p.m.
The webinar is free of charge, but participants will be required to register to attend.
Participants unable to attend the live session are still encouraged to register and a recording of the webinar will be sent to all registered attendees after the live session.
