Report: Indian Creek School District spent $13,456 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Indian Creek School District 425 was up 11.2 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dekalb County school district spent $12,105 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,456 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 723 to 726 students over the same period.

Indian Creek's spending in 2019-20 was 7.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
