Report: Collinsville School District spent $10,620 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Collinsville Community Unit School District 10 was up 13 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Madison County school district spent $9,398 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,620 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 6,558 to 6,169 students over the same period.

Collinsville's spending in 2019-20 was 26.7 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
