In Texas, the Texas Education Agency is changing exams for college entrance exams and Advanced Placement classes due to the coronavirus.
Advanced Placement classes are altering exams for the school year and having them be administered online, the Texas Education Agency said. The Texas Success Initiative Assessment will also be available online to take. According to Fox 8, the test can be taken at a reduced price through Examity.
The Texas Education Agency also said the College Board and ACT are suspending all SAT and ACT testing, according to Fox 8. Tests will be halted until June.
Anyone who had registered to take the SAT or ACT before June will receive a refund for the test, the Texas Education Agency said in a press release.
But International Baccalaureate exams that would have taken place in May 2020 are canceled.
