Report: Evanston-Skokie School District spent $15,960 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Evanston-Skokie Community Consolidated School District 65 was up 12.8 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $14,150 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,960 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 7,805 to 7,674 students over the same period.

Evanston-Skokie's spending in 2019-20 was 10.1 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
