Report: Glenbard School District spent $17,632 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Glenbard Township High School District 87 was up 9.2 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $16,150 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $17,632 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 8,173 to 8,029 students over the same period.

Glenbard's spending in 2019-20 was 21.7 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
