Report: New Holland-Middletown School District spent $13,620 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at New Holland-Middletown Elementary School District 88 was up 30.3 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Logan County school district spent $10,456 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,620 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 110 to 86 students over the same period.

New Holland-Middletown's spending in 2019-20 was 6 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
