Attorney General Dave Sunday and Pennsylvania Senator Tracy Pennycuick are set to host a roundtable with law enforcement and community leaders from Berks and Montgomery counties. The meeting aims to address current public safety issues, discuss trends, and explore ways for agencies to work together toward shared objectives.
The event will take place at the Monarch Fire Company in Douglassville on July 31, 2025. According to organizers, the roundtable is not open to the public or media beyond initial remarks. Members of the press may attend briefly to capture video and photographs during opening statements before being asked to leave so that participants can engage in candid discussions about sensitive topics.
"Attorney General Sunday and Senator Pennycuick will be available for media interviews prior to the roundtable event, which is closed to the public/media. Media attendees will be invited to take video/photographs of the group assembling for opening remarks, and will then be asked to depart so the group can have open discussion about sensitive matters."
Law enforcement leaders from both Berks County and Montgomery County are expected at the session. Credentialed members of the media are required to RSVP in advance.
