Report: Ewing Northern School District spent $9,916 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Ewing Northern Community Consolidated School District 115 was up 4.2 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Franklin County school district spent $9,518 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,916 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 202 to 214 students over the same period.

Ewing Northern's spending in 2019-20 was 31.6 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
