Report: Brimfield School District spent $10,954 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Brimfield Community Unit School District 309 was up 20.5 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Peoria County school district spent $9,092 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,954 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 711 to 668 students over the same period.

Brimfield's spending in 2019-20 was 24.4 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
