Report: Lockport School District spent $13,962 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Lockport Township High School District 205 was up 6.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Will County school district spent $13,066 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,962 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 3,670 to 3,836 students over the same period.

Lockport's spending in 2019-20 was 3.7 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
