Report: Oakdale School District spent $10,555 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Oakdale Community Consolidated School District 1 was up 20.3 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Washington County school district spent $8,777 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,555 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 78 to 67 students over the same period.

Oakdale's spending in 2019-20 was 27.2 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
