Report: Williamsville School District spent $9,383 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Williamsville Community Unit School District 15 was up 2.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Sangamon County school district spent $9,117 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,383 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 1,503 to 1,542 students over the same period.

Williamsville's spending in 2019-20 was 35.3 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
