Report: Dalzell School District spent $10,941 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Dalzell School District 98 was down 1.4 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Bureau County school district spent $11,095 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,941 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 59 to 60 students over the same period.

Dalzell's spending in 2019-20 was 24.5 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
