Report: Mundelein Consolidated School District spent $18,658 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Mundelein Consolidated High School District 120 was up 39.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Lake County school district spent $13,355 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $18,658 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 2,053 to 2,069 students over the same period.

Mundelein Consolidated's spending in 2019-20 was 28.7 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
