Report: Lick Creek School District spent $7,221 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Lick Creek Community Consolidated School District 16 was up 3 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Union County school district spent $7,011 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $7,221 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 133 to 153 students over the same period.

Lick Creek's spending in 2019-20 was 50.2 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
