Report: Bartonville School District spent $9,723 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Bartonville School District 66 was up 36.4 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Peoria County school district spent $7,130 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,723 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 250 to 324 students over the same period.

Bartonville's spending in 2019-20 was 32.9 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
