Report: Yorkville School District spent $13,282 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Yorkville Community Unit School District 115 was up 23.6 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Kendall County school district spent $10,742 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,282 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 5,980 to 6,245 students over the same period.

Yorkville's spending in 2019-20 was 8.3 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
