Report: Rossville Alvin School District spent $9,994 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Rossville Alvin Community Unit School District 7 was up 22.5 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Vermilion County school district spent $8,161 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,994 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 314 to 278 students over the same period.

Rossville Alvin's spending in 2019-20 was 31 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
