Report: Tri Valley School District spent $10,912 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Tri Valley Community Unit School District 3 was down 3.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Mclean County school district spent $11,359 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,912 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 992 to 1,065 students over the same period.

Tri Valley's spending in 2019-20 was 24.7 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
