Report: Cass School District spent $14,025 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Cass School District 63 was down 0.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $14,128 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,025 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 747 to 799 students over the same period.

Cass's spending in 2019-20 was 3.2 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
