Report: Triad School District spent $9,537 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Triad Community Unit School District 2 was up 10.3 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Madison County school district spent $8,647 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,537 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 3,670 to 3,929 students over the same period.

Triad's spending in 2019-20 was 34.2 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
