Report: O'Fallon School District spent $8,842 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at O'Fallon Community Consolidated School District 90 was up 7.8 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Saint Clair County school district spent $8,202 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $8,842 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 3,515 to 3,767 students over the same period.

O'Fallon's spending in 2019-20 was 39 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
