Report: Harmony-Emge School District spent $11,678 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Harmony-Emge School District 175 was up 9.5 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Saint Clair County school district spent $10,666 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,678 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 835 to 808 students over the same period.

Harmony-Emge's spending in 2019-20 was 19.4 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
