Report: Chadwick-Milledgeville School District spent $12,015 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Chadwick-Milledgeville Community Unit School District 399 was up 16.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Carroll County school district spent $10,300 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,015 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 502 to 436 students over the same period.

Chadwick-Milledgeville's spending in 2019-20 was 17.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
