Report: River Grove School District spent $10,137 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at River Grove School District 85.5 was up 0.3 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $10,111 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,137 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 697 to 748 students over the same period.

River Grove's spending in 2019-20 was 30.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
