Report: Illinois Valley Central School District spent $9,076 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Illinois Valley Central Unit School District 321 was up 9.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Peoria County school district spent $8,262 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,076 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 2,176 to 2,073 students over the same period.

Illinois Valley Central's spending in 2019-20 was 37.4 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
