Report: Oak Grove School District spent $12,259 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Oak Grove School District 68 was up 62.6 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Peoria County school district spent $7,540 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,259 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 361 to 269 students over the same period.

Oak Grove's spending in 2019-20 was 15.4 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
