Report: Harrison School District spent $14,162 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Harrison School District 36 was up 12 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Mchenry County school district spent $12,644 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,162 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 419 to 375 students over the same period.

Harrison's spending in 2019-20 was 2.3 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
