Report: Community Unit School District 200 School District spent $14,159 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Community Unit School District 200 was up 12.1 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $12,636 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,159 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 12,876 to 12,283 students over the same period.

Community Unit School District 200's spending in 2019-20 was 2.3 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
