Report: Carrier Mills Stonefort School District spent $9,197 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Carrier Mills Stonefort Community Unit School District 2 was up 5.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Saline County school district spent $8,702 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,197 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 456 to 448 students over the same period.

Carrier Mills Stonefort's spending in 2019-20 was 36.5 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
