Report: Rochelle School District spent $13,990 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Rochelle Township High School District 212 was up 16 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Ogle County school district spent $12,057 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,990 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 972 to 829 students over the same period.

Rochelle's spending in 2019-20 was 3.5 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
