Report: Fisher School District spent $11,295 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Fisher Community Unit School District 1 was up 8.8 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Champaign County school district spent $10,382 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,295 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 634 to 595 students over the same period.

Fisher's spending in 2019-20 was 22.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
