Report: Flossmoor School District spent $13,869 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Flossmoor School District 161 was up 8.8 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $12,751 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,869 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 2,321 to 2,310 students over the same period.

Flossmoor's spending in 2019-20 was 4.3 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
