Report: Pontiac School District spent $14,424 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Pontiac Township High School District 90 was up 8.1 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Livingston County school district spent $13,344 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,424 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 724 to 672 students over the same period.

Pontiac's spending in 2019-20 was 0.5 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
