Report: Township High School District 214 School District spent $20,718 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Township High School District 214 was up 4.4 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $19,850 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $20,718 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 11,879 to 11,774 students over the same period.

Township High School District 214's spending in 2019-20 was 43 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
