Report: Paris Union School District spent $10,351 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Paris Union School District 95 was up 1.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Edgar County school district spent $10,162 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,351 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,350 to 927 students over the same period.

Paris Union's spending in 2019-20 was 28.6 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
