Report: Prairieview-Ogden Central School District spent $11,050 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Prairieview-Ogden Central Consolidated School District 197 was up 13.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Education Daily Wire analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Champaign County school district spent $9,698 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,050 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 243 to 247 students over the same period.

Prairieview-Ogden Central's spending in 2019-20 was 23.8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
