Ryan Walters Superintendent | Oklahoma Department of Education
State Superintendent Ryan Walters has announced the finalists for the 2025 Oklahoma Teacher of the Year. Ten educators have been recognized for their excellence in teaching and dedication to student success.
“These exceptional teachers represent the very best of Oklahoma education,” said Superintendent Walters. “Their passion and commitment to student success set the standard for educators across our state. I am honored to celebrate their achievements and look forward to seeing the impact they continue to make in their schools and communities.”
The process for selecting these finalists began with each being named Teacher of the Year at their respective schools, followed by a district-level nomination process. A panel of Oklahomans will evaluate them to decide who will receive this statewide honor. The winner will be announced at the InspireOK event in July, where they will be acknowledged for their contributions to education and influence on Oklahoma's students.
