Governor Josh Shapiro is set to host a roundtable discussion at the Central PA Food Bank to address the effects of recent federal funding cuts on food banks and farmers in Pennsylvania. This event aims to provide insights into how these financial reductions are impacting local communities.

The roundtable will include participation from key figures such as Secretary Russell Redding of the Department of Agriculture, Joe Arthur, CEO of Central PA Food Bank, Chris Hoffman, President of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, along with other Pennsylvania farmers and Representative Justin Fleming.

Following this discussion, Governor Shapiro will conduct a press conference to inform the public about his administration's response to these funding cuts. The media is invited to attend both events, with availability beginning at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. The last ten minutes of the roundtable will be open for media attendance before transitioning into a full press conference scheduled for approximately 2:45 PM.

The events will take place at the Central PA Food Bank located at 3908 Corey Road in Harrisburg. For those unable to attend in person, live streaming will be available through pacast.com/live/gov and governor.pa.gov/live/.
