Dr. Carrie Rowe, Acting Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Education | Pennsylvania Department Of Education
Governor Josh Shapiro is set to visit Fegley's Bethlehem Brew Works. The visit aims to underline his administration's measures to bolster Pennsylvania's economy, support small enterprises, and invest in main streets amidst new tariffs imposed by the federal government. These tariffs have raised the cost of various goods for both businesses and consumers.
The announcement follows Shapiro's recent trip to Metzler Forest Products in Mifflin County earlier today, where he and Secretary Redding disclosed a new agricultural innovation grant designed to aid Pennsylvania hardwood companies in expanding their operations. Notably, Pennsylvania retains its status as the leading exporter of hardwood lumber and forest products in the nation.
Joining Governor Shapiro at the event will be Mayor Willie Reynolds, Representative Steve Samuelson, Representative Jeanne McNeill, and Jeff Fegley, the owner of Fegley’s Brew Works. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 1:15 PM.
The event will take place at Fegley's Bethlehem Brew Works, located at 559 Main Street #101, Bethlehem, PA. It will be available to watch via live stream at pacast.com/live/gov or governor.pa.gov/live/.
Press members intending to attend are required to RSVP by submitting the names and phone numbers for each member of their team to ra-gvgovpress@pa.gov.
