Louisiana launches statewide strategy to tackle chronic absenteeism

Accompanying this strategy is the launch of a new student attendance landing page under School System Resources. This online hub offers school leaders quick access to guidance documents, data tools, customizable templates, and legal references.

The landing page includes an overview of attendance requirements and best practices, downloadable templates, planning tools, communication resources, tiered guidance for various levels of support, and a data library for examining local attendance trends by parish and system.
