Lt. Gov. Austin Davis is set to emphasize the Shapiro-Davis Administration's focus on mass transit investments in Pennsylvania during a news conference at SEPTA's Croydon Station on June 17, 2025. The event will feature discussions with representatives from the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) and local employers about the role of mass transit in job creation, community connectivity, and economic growth.
The Lieutenant Governor will be joined by state Sen. Following the news conference scheduled for 9:15 a.m., Lt. Gov. Davis plans to board a Trenton Line Regional Rail train heading to Suburban Station in downtown Philadelphia as part of the initiative to showcase public transit investment benefits.
The Shapiro-Davis budget proposal for 2025-26 includes significant funding aimed at enhancing mass transit and road infrastructure across Pennsylvania to ensure accessibility for residents.
