An Oklahoma judge has dismissed a lawsuit challenging the state's history standards, marking a significant development for Superintendent Ryan Walters' agenda. The decision supports the teaching of what Walters describes as "the values and principles that shaped this country" in classrooms across Oklahoma.

Walters expressed his commitment to providing students with an education that emphasizes critical thinking rather than what he terms "liberal activism." He stated, "Oklahoma kids will be taught facts not indoctrination. They will be taught to critically think and not to become liberal activism."

The curriculum will include discussions on the 2020 election and incorporate teachings about the Bible's influence on American history. Walters emphasized that these lessons aim to provide students with a "pro-America education," rejecting concepts like DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) and CRT (Critical Race Theory).

In the upcoming fall semester, Bibles are expected to be present in every classroom as part of this educational approach. Walters maintains that these measures are intended to foster critical thinking among students rather than serve as a platform for political indoctrination.
