Kirsten Baesler Superintendent | North Dakota Department of Public Instruction

As North Dakota moves forward with the transition to Infinite Campus, questions have arisen regarding the future of EduTech after July 1, 2026. According to information provided, EduTech staff are employees of the North Dakota Information Technology department (NDIT). Decisions about staffing and alignment of these employees will be made solely by NDIT leadership. The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) does not participate in this process.

"EduTech staff are NDIT employees. NDIT leaders have the sole authority to determine their staffing strategies and will ultimately be the decision-makers in aligning their employees to their agency’s needs. NDDPI does not play a role in this process."
