Missouri Vocational Rehabilitation (MVR) has announced two virtual public hearings in March to collect feedback on vocational rehabilitation services for individuals with disabilities. The hearings are part of an effort to improve these services and gather input on MVR’s goals and priorities, which are outlined in the state plan draft.

The first hearing is scheduled for March 18, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and the second will take place on March 19, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Participants can join either session online or by phone.

Written comments about the state plan can be submitted until March 31, 2025. Comments may be mailed to Missouri Vocational Rehabilitation at the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Jefferson City, sent via email to info@vr.dese.mo.gov, or provided through an online form.

Real-time captioning will be available during both events. Those needing additional accommodations are encouraged to contact Tammy McSorley at the provided toll-free number or email address before the hearings.

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education oversees MVR’s efforts as part of its mission to support education and rehabilitation programs across the state.
