Pennsylvania Secretary of Health Dr. Debra Bogen and Insurance Commissioner Michael Humphreys visited See-Right Pharmacy in Harrisburg to address concerns about the safety, access, and availability of the COVID-19 vaccine as respiratory virus season approaches.

Both officials received a COVID-19 vaccine during their visit. Dr. Bogen stated, "Vaccines for COVID-19 and the flu are readily available to everyone older than six months of age. The vaccines boost your body's natural defenses against these viruses. As a physician, I strongly encourage all Pennsylvanians to stay up to date on their vaccinations to protect against severe illness from COVID-19, and flu before gathering with family and friends this holiday season."

The event was also attended by Paul Bowers, Pharmacy Manager at See-Right Pharmacy, along with State Representatives Nate Davidson (103rd District) and Justin Fleming (105th District).

The officials aimed to clear up confusion that may have arisen from recent federal actions regarding COVID-19 vaccine policies. They emphasized the importance of using evidence-based information when making decisions about vaccination.
