Budget Secretary Uri Monson, along with Department of General Services (DGS) Executive Deputy Secretary Sandra Aguilera and Deputy Secretary of Business Operations Catherine Califano, will participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of the newly modernized Office of the Budget workspaces at Forum Place in Harrisburg.
The event represents a significant step in Pennsylvania's ongoing real-estate modernization initiative. The 2025-26 state budget includes an investment exceeding $15 million for the Space Optimization & Utilization Project (SOUP). This project is part of a broader statewide strategy aimed at reducing leased office space, enhancing workplace quality, and achieving substantial long-term cost savings.
The ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 9:00 AM on the ninth floor of Forum Place at 555 Walnut Street. RSVPs are encouraged but not required.
