ROUND ROCK INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT: Outgoing Board Members Recognized for Service, Incoming Trustees Sworn in

Round Rock Independent School District issued the following announcement.

During their regular November meeting, the Round Rock ISD Board of Trustees recognized Chad Chadwell, Nikki Gonzales, Mason Moses and Steve Math for their years of service.

The longest serving member, Chadwell, served on the Board since 2008 and previously served as Board President. Gonzales has served on the Board since 2014 and previously served as Board Vice President. Mason Moses has served on the Board since 2016 and Steve Math has served on the Board since 2017 and currently serves as the Board Secretary.

Some of their accomplishments while on the Board include opening campuses, approving Bond Elections that provide additional resources for students and staff and approving behavioral and mental health support initiatives for the District.

Bringing in a new Board, the newly elected trustees Dr. Jun Xiao, Dr. Mary Bone, Tiffanie Harrison and Danielle Weston were also ceremonially sworn in during the meeting. With the ceremony, Xiao, Bone, Harrison and Weston joined the Trustees for the remainder of the meeting to serve in their respective places.
